All data comes from Ontario’s Open Government Data Catalogue — specifically the MNRF’s annual moose, deer, and bear hunt draw allocation results. This is the same official data that determines who draws what tag each year. DrawEdge cleans, structures, and calculates probabilities from five years of historical results (2021–2025), updated annually when MNRF publishes new data.
No. DrawEdge is independently built and is not affiliated with the MNRF or the Government of Ontario. We use publicly available open data to build tools for hunters. Always confirm draw dates, deadlines, and regulations directly with the MNRF or the Ontario Hunting & Trapping Regulations Summary.
The odds are calculated from actual MNRF allocation data — real applicants, real allocations, real point cutoffs. They are historical probabilities, not predictions. Future draws will vary based on applicant pool size, MNRF quota changes, and point accumulation. DrawEdge shows you the trend so you can make a smarter — not perfect — decision.
Full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. If DrawEdge isn’t useful to you, we don’t want your money. Email support and we’ll process the refund promptly.
Data is updated annually when MNRF publishes the prior year’s draw allocation results — typically in late fall or early winter. The 2025 draw results will be incorporated before the 2026 draw opens on April 1st. Hunting and fishing regulation data is updated each time MNRF publishes new regulation summaries.

Especially then. DrawEdge shows you which WMUs have historically allocated tags to hunters with 0 or 1 point. It also shows which units are point traps that will keep eating your applications year after year. With 0–2 points, choosing strategically now determines whether you draw in 2 years or 8.
